Poor Harrison

So as many of you know, I’ve enjoyed tracking Ryan Harrison’s progress in the tennis world.  And he just won today in four sets against Giraldo.  Awesome!  But Harrison can never get a break.  He’ll most likely face Djokovic in the second round (as I’m writing this, Djokovic has claimed the first two sets against Mathieu).  Harrison just gets the worst draws ever.  Or is it his fault for not doing better at tournmaents during the year where he can get himself seeded at least?

“It was emotional tonight, but not emotional like we normally have it. It’s normally a very selfish emotion for us. If we do badly then it costs us something; if we do well we get great things. This was about something bigger. It wasn’t about ranking points or pay cheques or anything else. It was fun. This week I felt like I was 12 years old playing in a park. It was extremely innocent.” - Andy Roddick
